We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our growing manufacturing team. Whether your background is in CNC milling or CNC turning , this is an opportunity to work with modern equipment, produce high-quality precision components, and grow your career in a clean, safety-focused environment. Programming experience is not required—our machinists work from existing programs while performing machine setups, adjustments, and quality inspections.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills and/or CNC lathes to manufacture precision components according to engineering drawings and customer specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, work instructions, and setup sheets.
• Load materials, fixtures, and tooling while ensuring proper machine setup and safe operation.
• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections using precision measuring instruments.
• Monitor machining operations and make tool wear offsets and minor machine adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Replace cutting tools, inserts, drills, and end mills as needed.
• Verify dimensions using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, height gauges, thread gauges, and other inspection equipment.
• Maintain tight tolerances while producing quality parts with minimal scrap.
• Perform routine machine maintenance including coolant checks, lubrication, and machine cleaning.
• Accurately complete production and inspection documentation.
• Work closely with quality, engineering, and production teams to resolve manufacturing issues.
• Follow Lean Manufacturing principles, 5S standards, and OSHA safety regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous CNC machining experience operating mills or lathes.
• Experience performing machine setups and making tool offset adjustments.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T.
• Experience using precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work overtime or flexible shifts when needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Haas, Mazak, Okuma, Mori Seiki, Doosan, Makino, or similar CNC equipment.
• Familiarity with Fanuc, Haas, Mazatrol, Okuma, or Siemens controls.
• Experience machining stainless steel, aluminum, carbon steel, tool steel, titanium, or plastics.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement.
• Forklift or overhead crane experience.
• Basic troubleshooting of CNC equipment.
