Join a respected, physician-led independent Family Medicine practice serving the Wilmington community. We are seeking a full-time Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our collaborative clinical team and support high-quality, patient-centered primary care across the lifespan.
Our practice emphasizes continuity, prevention, and whole-person wellness while maintaining the close provider-patient relationships that define independent family medicine.
Position Highlights
* 100% Outpatient Family Medicine — no hospital rounding
* Full-Time Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Position Overview
The Physician Assistant will work closely with supervising physicians and clinical staff to deliver comprehensive primary care services.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct patient evaluations, physical exams, and medical histories
* Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
* Order and interpret diagnostic testing
* Develop and implement treatment plans
* Provide patient education and preventive care counseling
* Accurately document care in the electronic health record
* Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care
* Maintain compliance with clinical protocols and regulatory standards
Qualifications/Education
Master's Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
Experience
* 3-5 years of family medicine or primary care experience preferred
* Current PA-C certification
* Eligible for or holding North Carolina Physician Assistant licensure
Skills and Competencies
* Strong diagnostic and clinical judgment
* EHR proficiency
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to manage a diverse patient panel in a fast-paced outpatient setting
