Position Entry‑Level Water/Wastewater Engineer – Montgomery, AL. Responsibilities Work alongside Project Management and Design Leads in the planning, designing, and commissioning of projects from design through construction for water treatment, collection and distribution projects. Tasks may include: Hydraulic modeling Assisting in the preparation of plans and specifications Performing research, technical writing, development of documentation and studies Data collection, processing, and analysis to support planning and design activities Supporting construction activities related to designs to ensure proper construction Providing on‑site troubleshooting based on field conditions, including construction observation, startup and testing, and project closeout activities Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Biosystems, Chemical or Environmental Engineering Familiarity with Microsoft Suite and PDF editors Relevant water/wastewater coursework or projects Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in civil or environmental engineering Prior work or internship experience with an engineering consultancy or municipality Engineer In Training (EIT) certificate or ability to obtain in the first year Benefits Health and welfare benefits include medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance, as well as a 401(k) plan.
