Flightline Operations Manager Company: The Boeing Company – Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) – Everett, Washington. Position level: K. Overview Flightline Operations Manager will lead teams, support daily operational production processes, and provide technical oversight in the planning and execution of aircraft delivery for the 737 Preflight and Delivery (PF&D) program. Position Responsibilities Manage, develop, and motivate employees using best practices and regular employee feedback. Ensure air vehicles are completed and certified for airworthiness by overseeing final paint installation, modification, repair, and delivery preparation. Interface with flight crews, engineering, management, suppliers, and customers to meet product requirements and secure customer acceptance. Develop and execute project and process plans, implement policies and procedures, achieve operational goals for quality, on-time delivery, and cost control. Secure resources for projects and processes, provide technical oversight of suppliers, and lead continuous process improvements. Oversee and approve technical approaches, process changes, and adoption of lean principles. Promote a culture of safety, quality, continuous improvement, and teamwork; influence the team to demonstrate Boeing Values and Behaviors. Basic Qualifications (Required) 3+ years of experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or equivalent military experience. Willingness to work any shift based on operation needs, overtime, holidays, and weekends. Possess an A/P or Repairman Certificate or minimum 18 months of practical maintenance experience qualifying for an FAA Repairman Certificate in the type of maintenance performed. At least one year of leadership experience (team leader, temporary manager, large-scale cross-functional project/program management, or formal manager) OR completion of Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership.” Preferred Qualifications (Desired) 5+ years of experience in the aerospace industry. 3+ years of flight line operations experience and functional test knowledge. 3+ years of experience with avionics, troubleshooting, functional test, release/ticket, manufacturing, or structures. 3+ years proficiency using Velocity/CMES or similar industry software. Formal or informal team leadership experience. Bachelor's degree or higher. Additional Information Shift: 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift (determined at the time of offer).
