Key Responsibilities

• Provide primary care, including examinations, diagnosis, treatment, and preventive services.

• Manage acute and chronic conditions across different age groups.

• Develop individualized treatment plans and prescribe medications as appropriate.

• Perform routine office-based procedures within clinical privileges.

• Review diagnostic tests, imaging, and laboratory results.

• Collaborate with medical support staff to ensure coordinated patient care.

• Maintain accurate medical records and follow applicable clinical standards.

• Educate patients on preventive care and long-term health management.

Qualifications

Required

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.

• Active Louisiana medical license.

• Board-certified or board-eligible in an appropriate primary care specialty.

• Federal and state DEA registrations as applicable.

• Strong clinical judgment and ability to practice independently.

• Excellent communication and patient care skills.

Preferred

• Experience in primary care, family medicine, or internal medicine.

• Experience working with diverse patient populations.

• Background in collaborative or community-based healthcare settings.
