As a Talent Acquisition Partner, you’ll proactively source, identify and assess talent, hiring strong talent and leaders who can help us deliver an exceptional client and employee experience. You will primarily support CIBC’s US Capital Markets businesses by developing strategic talent attraction strategy, sourcing plans, and actively recruiting high quality candidates who can effectively support business plans and goals. CIBC’s US Capital Markets group includes Global Markets Trading and Global Corporate and Investment Banking, with offices across the country.They will be responsible for facilitating the full life cycle of recruitment; working with the ED & Head, US Talent Acquisition and HRBPs to manage, negotiate, provide oversight, and administrative support throughout the recruitment and onboarding process, as well as to educate, consult and transfer knowledge of global staffing processes/policies to the US HR team and/or US hiring managers.At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement. **How You’ll Succeed**Independently manage the lifecycle of job requisitions, including opening requisitions, tracking progress, coordinating interviews, and ensuring successful timely closure of roles.* Partner with hiring managers to define talent needs, develop job descriptions, and design targeted recruitment strategies.* Keep up to date on market trends and competitor information, providing business partners with insights and recommendations that will improve candidate quality.* Develop deep subject matter expertise in the Financial Services sector to effectively screen resumes, discuss roles and hiring requirements with business partners, interview candidates, and influence hiring plans and decisions.* Proactively manage candidate and hiring manager relationships; following up with interviewers and candidates following meetings in order to efficiently drive the hiring process forward.* Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans that leverage professional online networks (LinkedIn), social media, and traditional marketing to build a diverse pipeline of qualified candidates, while utilizing tools like applicant tracking systems (Workday) and talent market research to meet business needs.* Partner with HR Business Partners to effectively manage, negotiate, and provide oversight throughout the entire recruitment process for new hires.* Draft offer letters and work with HR team on the hiring approval process.* Assist with ad-hoc reporting, tracking, onboarding, and administrative tasks as necessary to support the broader team. **Who You Are*** Minimum 3-5 years’ recruitment/sourcing experience in a high volume, fast paced corporate environment. Experience within the financial industry is preferred.* Strong interviewing and assessment skills with experience conducting phone screens and a proven ability to independently manage end-to-end recruitment cycle.* Self-starter and strong team player with excellent organizational and time management skills, capable of effectively prioritizing and managing multiple competing tasks and tight timelines.* Possess outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with all management levels and key stakeholders in a complex reporting environment, while maintaining strong attention to detail.* Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems such as Workday.* Capability to adapt and modify procedures in a changing environment to ensure productivity and efficiency.* Bachelor’s degree required.* Excellent computer skills; must be able to manipulate spreadsheet data and have intermediate level skills (at an absolute minimum) on PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.* **Values matter to you.** You bring your real self to work and you live our values – trust, teamwork, and accountability. This role has an expected salary range of $70,000-$85,000 for the New York, NY market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component.
