About The Role Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to join their team remotely, supporting a prominent Energy and Construction firm based in Akron, Ohio. This is a direct hire opportunity offering an annual compensation range of $100,000 to $150,000, commensurate with experience. The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle within the company's energy division, focusing on sourcing, evaluating, and onboarding top talent for senior-level roles such as engineers, project managers, and estimators. This role demands a strategic thinker with deep industry knowledge, advanced sourcing skills, and the ability to develop long-term talent pipelines. The successful candidate will work closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs, implement innovative recruitment strategies, and ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process. Qualifications To be considered for this role, candidates should possess a minimum of 3-5+ years of proven experience in talent acquisition, preferably within the energy, engineering, or architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industries. A strong track record of successfully recruiting for complex roles and utilizing various sourcing methods including LinkedIn, professional networking, and job boards is essential. Candidates should demonstrate excellent interviewing and assessment skills, with the ability to evaluate candidate potential effectively. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required to build rapport with both candidates and hiring managers. Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools is necessary for managing candidate data efficiently. A bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field is preferred, although relevant experience can be considered. Industry-specific experience, particularly within the AEC sector, is highly desirable to ensure a deep understanding of the technical and cultural requirements of the roles. Responsibilities The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist will be tasked with developing and executing comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract high-quality candidates across all organizational levels. This includes conducting thorough candidate assessments through initial phone screens, behavioral interviews, and skills evaluations to determine suitability for complex roles. The role involves proactively sourcing passive candidates via networking, industry connections, and advanced search techniques to build a robust talent pipeline. Managing and maintaining accurate candidate data within the ATS, collaborating with ATS representatives, and providing internal training on recruitment tools are critical duties. Building strong relationships with hiring managers is essential to understand their specific staffing needs and provide expert guidance throughout the recruitment process. Ensuring a positive candidate experience is paramount, fostering long-term relationships for current and future hiring needs. The specialist will also actively promote diversity and inclusion initiatives by sourcing diverse candidates and participating in employer branding activities.
