About This Role
We are seeking a passionate, energetic, and qualified Part-Time Lead Teacher to guide our Prep classroom. In this role, you will manage daily classroom activities, implement a play-based and structured curriculum, and foster a love for learning in young children.
What You'll DoDeliver Lesson Plans : Implement age-appropriate curriculum activities spanning literacy, math, science, and arts.
Classroom Management : Maintain an organized, clean, and safe classroom environment that fosters positive student behavior.
Student Assessment : Monitor individual student progress and adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs.
Parent Communication : Provide regular, professional updates to families regarding their child's daily achievements and development.
Team Collaboration : Partner with lead teachers and administration to maintain high-quality care and operational excellence.
Requirements- Education : High school diploma required; CDA, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
- Experience : Minimum of 1–2 years of experience working in a licensed childcare facility or preschool setting.
- Certifications : Current CPR and First Aid certifications (or willingness to obtain them quickly).
- Background Check : Must successfully pass all state-mandated criminal background checks and fingerprinting.
- Key Skills : Strong communication, patience, high energy, and a genuine passion for early childhood development.
Schedule & Compensation
- Job Type : Part-Time (approx. 20–25 hours per week)
- Shift : Monday through Friday afternoon
- Pay : Competitive hourly rate based on education and experience
Prefer Applicant to have CDA or Higher and 1 year of experience.
