Job Title: Diesel Truck Mechanic/Technician
Location: Lakeville, Minnesota
Company: Interstate Power Systems

Interstate Power System’s is looking for a Diesel Mechanic based out of our Lakeville, Minnesota location with a minimum of 3-5 years of Light or Heavy-Duty diesel experience. If you are a Diesel Mechanic/Technician who specializes in Freightliner, Detroit, Allison, Cummins, CAT products, MTU and more we are offering highly competitive wages!

Pay Range: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour DOE

Diesel Mechanic/Technician Job Duties:

• Responsible for repairing, maintaining diesel engines and diesel components used in various vehicles and diesel equipment.
• Accurately and efficiently diagnose complex diesel engine conditions and make necessary repairs.
• Communicate effectively with peers, foreman, and service team regarding those repairs.
• Quality control work performed to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.
• Keep paperwork updated and handed in upon completion.
• Meet requirements for certifications.

Diesel Mechanic/Technician Requirements:

• Valid Driver's license (Bonus compensation for CDL holders)
• Must possess a good work ethic, a positive attitude, and be reliable.
• Must possess an excellent understanding of Detroit Diesel engines through the current GHG17 product.
• Experience with other diesel engine platforms such as Cummins, CAT, & International are a plus.
• Other mechanical skills desired but not essential: Hydraulics, Brakes & Suspension, Manual Transmissions, Drive Train, and Automatic Transmissions.

• Technical degree or certification a plus.
