Slot Technician I

Position Slot Technician. Reports To: Slot Technician Manager and/or Slot Department Manager. Department: Slot Department. Status: Nonexempt. Salary: $17.50-$18.50 per hour. Full time. Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life insurance; Generous Paid Time Off; 401K with Match. Duties and Responsibilities Check gaming machine repair log daily and service noted machines. Report to Slot Technician Manager any machine left “out of order” and document detailed report. Maintain a log of machines opened, tested or repaired, and record repairs made. Adhere to Casino and department policies and procedures at all times. Maintain a professional image at all times. Perform other duties as directed by the Slot Technician Manager, Casino Shift Manager, and Slot Department Manager. Record and report any suspicious activity as defined by the Bank Secrecy Act (Title 31) and Feather Falls Casino Internal Control Policy Suspicious Activity Compliance Program. Qualifications Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. Experience: Minimum six months experience in an electronics-related field preferred. Skills and Abilities Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Communicate effectively with customers and employees. Mathematical skills: add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; compute rate, ratio, and percent. Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions while providing optimum guest service. Certificates and Licenses Class A Gaming License (provided for a nominal fee with a clean background check). Physical Demands The physical demands described include standing, walking, sitting, using hands to finger, handle, or feel, reaching with hands and arms, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling; talking and hearing. Occasionally lifting or moving up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Work Environment The work environment includes regular exposure to tobacco smoke, loud noises, and bright lights. Candidates must be at least 21 years old and able to pass background check and drug screen.
