AP Chemistry Teacher

The John Cooper School is currently seeking an Upper School Science Teacher in AP Chemistry. The John Cooper School, located in The Woodlands, TX, on a beautiful 40-acre campus with a total enrollment of 1,300 students, is an independent, coeducational college preparatory day school serving students in Prekindergarten through Grade 12. The Upper School (Grades 9-12) is a dynamic, caring, and collegial environment that fosters curiosity and joy in our learners. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Teach chemistry courses and electives (4 or 5 sections) in the Upper School Science Department. There is a potential need for the ability to teach a variety of levels in chemistry, and specific courses assigned will be a function of departmental need and candidate’s expertise. Therefore, we welcome experience in both biology and physics as well. Advisor to a small group of Upper School students.
