Specialist Repair Technician

As a Specialist Repair Technician, you will perform mid‑to‑advanced level repairs on digital and analog camera equipment, lenses, and accessories. Your work will directly impact our reputation for quality and reliability. Responsibilities Perform mid‑to‑advanced level repairs on digital and analog camera equipment, lenses, and accessories. Diagnose a wide range of issues using technical knowledge and testing tools. Request purchase orders from appropriate vendors for repairs. Manage workload and transport photo gear from contractor location to the warehouse. Communicate with the administration team on service updates and technician notes. Document repair work, parts usage, and technical observations in our system. Qualifications Professional experience in repair, soldering, troubleshooting, or related fields. Mechanical or electronic aptitude. Previous experience with an OEM. Strong attention to detail. A positive, can‑do attitude. Ability to self‑manage and switch between tasks effectively. Strong verbal and written communication skills to follow instructions. Patience, tact, and confidence when dealing with complex issues. Photographic/product knowledge experience (a plus). Language Skills Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Mathematical Skills Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions and percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra.
