Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Heating Air Conditioning Refrigeration Technician role located in the Greater Cleveland area. The technician installs, maintains, and repairs HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and related equipment in residential and commercial settings. Daily responsibilities include diagnosing system issues, performing preventive maintenance, checking electrical and plumbing connections, and ensuring systems operate efficiently and safely. The role involves responding to service calls, accurately documenting work performed, communicating clearly with customers about findings and recommended solutions, and following all regulatory and company safety standards. The technician collaborates with team members, maintains tools and vehicles in good condition, and supports high-quality construction and mechanical work on projects. Qualifications Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for HVAC systems and related mechanical components. Knowledge of plumbing connections and practices relevant to heating and cooling equipment. Experience with preventive maintenance procedures for furnaces, air conditioners, and ventilation systems. Understanding of electricity and electrical safety in HVAC installations and repairs. EPA certification (or eligibility to obtain) for handling refrigerants and complying with environmental regulations. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and building plans. Comfort working in varied conditions (indoors, outdoors, tight spaces) and lifting moderate loads safely. Effective communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical issues in clear terms. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites in the Greater Cleveland area.
