Directional Drilling Supervisor

FindTalent is seeking a dedicated and experienced Directional Drilling Supervisor to lead and oversee directional drilling operations for a reputable utility services provider. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Virginia. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on expertise in directional drilling, strong leadership capabilities, and a commitment to safety and quality in utility construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate all aspects of directional drilling operations.
Lead a field crew, ensuring efficient and safe execution of projects.
Operate and maintain directional drilling equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
Review and implement project plans, blueprints, and specifications.
Maintain compliance with all safety protocols, industry regulations, and company policies.
Identify and resolve on-site challenges to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
Report project progress and key updates to stakeholders and management.

Qualifications

Proven experience in directional drilling operations, including HDD (Horizontal Directional Drilling) equipment.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams effectively.
Thorough knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in utility construction.
Proficient in interpreting and executing project plans and specifications.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
CDL (Commercial Driver's License) with a clean driving record is preferred.
