Volt is immediately hiring Plating Technician in Valencia, CA.

As a Plating Technician, you will:

• Responsible for inspecting, cleaning, and preparing parts for Cadmium plating.
• Performing chemical processing (hard chrome, sulfamate nickel, LHE cadmium plating) of landing gear components in accordance with company, customer, Nadcap and OEM policies and procedures.
• To work in conjunction with, and provide technical support to fellow platers, planners, and lab technicians on matters relating to chemical processing.
• To ensure processing is documented in accordance with internal, customer, OEM and FAA requirements, including documentation of maintenance performed on the work order/ traveler, bill of materials, picture sheets, and logs.

This is a Full-time, Contract to Hire opportunity.

Qualifications:

• Requires previous employment experience for the services sought, including practical experience with the procedures, practices, inspection methods, materials, tools, and equipment generally used for maintenance activities performed by the repair station, specifically as they relate to chemical processing.

Pay Rate: $20.00 - $30.00 Per hour

Special Requirements:

• DOT/FAA Safety-Sensitive Position
• FAA drug screen required

1st Shift: 6 am - 02:30 pm

2nd Shift: 3 pm - 11:30 pm
