As an Unarmed Security Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat07:00 AM - 03:00 PMSun06:30 AM - 03:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading docks, trailer areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials as required by site procedures, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity. Prepare accurate reports of incidents, patrol observations, and security-related activities, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management. Minimum Requirements: Access control and badge experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
