Job Description

The primary duty of a dentist is to deliver a high standard of care to every patient. To this end, they may have the following job duties:

Performing exams and evaluating X-rays to determine a patient’s health
Developing treatment plans to deal with any dental health issues
Providing cosmetic services like teeth whitening, bonding, and veneers to enhance the appearance of teeth
Filling cavities, performing root canals, applying crowns, and installing bridges and implants to fix broken and missing teeth
Administering or prescribing medications to decrease pain and improve patient health
Interacting with patients and instructing them on proper oral care
Measuring and fitting dental appliances
Maintaining accurate patient records
AEGD training is a must
