Escrow Assistant

Job Overview As an Escrow Assistant, you will provide administrative and customer service support to the Escrow department during residential real‑estate transactions. You will assist with opening orders, entering closing statement information, preparing documents for closing, and handling the disbursement and follow‑up of escrow transactions. You may work directly with escrow officers or partner with a team on a branch or office setting. Essential Functions Perform a wide range of administrative duties to gather information and assist in the escrow process. Handle tasks such as opening orders, inputting closing statement information, preparing documents for closing, and managing escrow disbursements and follow‑up. Communicate requirements and other relevant information to clients. Interpret agreements related to closing and prepare all required documents for transactions. Knowledge and Skills Customer service skills. Problem‑solving skills. Strong organizational skills. Knowledge of the MS Office suite. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to maintain professionalism and a positive service attitude. Strong detail orientation. Knowledge of company and/or client operating systems. Typical Education High School diploma or equivalent. Typical Experience 2+ years of escrow‑related experience.
