Systems Assembler

Description: 

The Systems Assembler performs routine assembly operations on structural and mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, and aircraft systems using established drawings, specifications, and work instructions. Working in a regulated manufacturing environment, this role ensures accuracy, compliance, and quality workmanship while contributing to a culture of safety, professionalism, and continuous improvement.

#Education & Job Requirements
*High School Diploma or GED equivalent
*1+ years of experience reading, understanding, engineering drawings and specifications, including blueprint and schematic reading, specification, change, and design documentation
*1+ years of experience working in a Manufacturing environment
*Experience in a highly regulated environment where compliance is critical
*Experience with fabrication and/or assembly of mechanical or electrical systems utilizing production industry standards
*Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals
*Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language

#Preferred Skills
*1+ year of experience working with specialized tools, including electrical and mechanical wire crimpers and strippers, wire routing tools, accessing computer files, and multimeters
*Knowledge of assembly and production processes, manufacturing capabilities data needed for defining delivery configurations, including design definition, program directives, engineering drawings, change memos, wiring diagrams and schematics, functional tests, and supplier data
*Ability to differentiate production manufacturing processes and requirements from in-service procedures and requirements
*Complete knowledge of shop processes including Foreign Object Damage/Debris (FOD) prevention, material handling, safety, calibration requirements, and Electrostatic Discharge (ESD)
