Assistant Area Director of After-School Programs Woodbridge Township School District Woodbridge, New Jersey Hybrid Leadership Position $50,000–$55,000 Annually What You’ll Be Doing You’ll work alongside our Area Director to help oversee multiple after-school programs throughout the Woodbridge Township School District. Visiting school sites and supporting program operations Coaching and developing Site Directors and teaching staff Building strong partnerships with school administrators and district leaders Recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and training new team members Ensuring every program operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with New Jersey licensing requirements Monitoring program quality and providing meaningful coaching and feedback Reviewing payroll and maintaining licensing documentation Assisting with staffing needs and supporting programs wherever you’re needed Every day looks a little different, and that’s exactly what makes this role exciting. A minimum of two years of supervisory or management experience in education, childcare, youth development, recreation, or a related field. Must meet and maintain all New Jersey childcare licensing requirements. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Ability to travel between multiple school locations throughout the workweek. Flexible availability to support before‑school and after‑school programs, meetings, trainings, and occasional special events.
