Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Experience with heavy robotics and orthopedic procedures Experience in urology, gynecology, plastics, ENT, eye, podiatry, spine, and neurosurgery Description: Start date is flexible. Travel candidates accepted. Work schedule is five 8-hour shifts, typically from 07:00 to 15:30. On-call rotation required 2-3 days per week and every 4-5 weekends. Nurses are expected to cover on-call shifts if taking requested time off lands on a call day. Required certifications include BLS. A valid nursing license from Wisconsin or a compact state is necessary. Prior experience of 2 years is essential. Responsibilities include assisting in various surgical specialties. The unit participates in a heavy robotic surgery program across multiple specialties. Candidates should have skills in multiple surgical procedures ranging from abdominal to orthopedic and neurosurgical interventions. All nursing staff are expected to be proficient in all specialties as there are no set teams. Additional specialized equipment includes advanced robotic systems and surgical tables. The unit is supported by rapid response teams and pharmacy services.
