Security Officer - Clearance Required

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Clearance Required in Fort Wayne, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential concerns.
- Monitor access points and verify credentials for authorized personnel, visitors, and deliveries in accordance with site protocols and restricted-area requirements.
- Document observations, incidents, and daily activities in clear reports, and report maintenance, operational, and/or security-related issues to site leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
