Location: Newark, NJ (Must live within 15 miles)

 

$55,000–$60,000 Base Salary + Quarterly Bonus

About the Opportunity:

We're looking for an experienced GM to lead a high-volume fast casual restaurant in Newark, NJ .

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who enjoys developing teams, driving operational excellence, and delivering an outstanding guest experience in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

• Lead all daily restaurant operations
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop your management team and staff
• Drive sales, profitability, and overall restaurant performance
• Manage labor, food cost, inventory, and scheduling
• Maintain full P&L accountability
• Ensure food quality, safety, sanitation, and brand standards
• Deliver exceptional guest service while fostering a positive team culture
• Oversee hiring, onboarding, performance management, and employee development

 

Requirements (Must Have):

• Current General Manager in a Fast Casual restaurant
• 3+ years of General Manager experience
• Experience managing $1.5MM+ annual sales volume in a QSR environment
• Strong P&L knowledge 
• Passion for superfoods, healthy living, and (of course) fruit!

 

*Full-service restaurant experience alone will not qualify

*Traditional drive-thru QSR backgrounds (McDonald's, Wendy's, Popeyes, etc.) will not be considered*

 

Preferred Background:

Experience with brands such as:

• CAVA
• Sweetgreen
• Just Salad
• Panera Bread
• Starbucks
• Raw Juce
• Similar fast casual concepts

Spanish bilingual skills are a plus.
