Freight Broker (Carrier Sales Rep)

Schedule: Full Time Job Type: Hybrid Salary Type: Salary Req #: 2505 About the Role As a Carrier Sales Representative II, you are a key contributor to Uber Freight's business by generating and maintaining carrier relationships. You will be eligible to earn a monthly bonus, in addition to your base salary, in your first full calendar month and enjoy working in a fast-paced, sales environment. What the Candidate Will Do * Establish relationships, negotiate, and develop carriers regularly via phone and email in order to develop core and dedicated carriers * Ensure customer satisfaction and high service levels where freight is picked up and delivered on time using safe, reliable carriers * Meet or exceed team financial and individual performance goals * Develop knowledge of carrier supply and demand, spot market pricing, and factors that impact freight markets * Carrier profile management- learn carrier requirements, needs, contacts and update carrier profiles regularly. Be an advocate for the carrier on all levels * Acquire knowledge of freight network/lanes- know what internal freight lanes we run and find carriers that match these lanes Basic Qualifications * High School diploma or GED * At least 2 years TL/LTL freight brokerage/logistics sales experience Preferred Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in related field * Bilingual/Multilingual skills Benefits & Compensation for U.S. Employees Employees working more than 30 hours in the US at Uber Freight are eligible for benefits like a company sponsored health plan, dental and vision benefits, 401k match, financial and mental wellness benefits, parental leave, short- and long-term disability coverage, life insurance and more.
