Travel RN Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,370–$2,500
• Location: Seattle, Washington
• Assignment Type: 13-week travel nursing assignment
• Start Date: November 16, 2026
• End Date: February 15, 2027
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shifts per Week: 3
• Shift Duration: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Call: No call required
• Float Expectations: May provide bedside coverage in the NICU, PICU, or pediatric units

Pediatric and Neonatal Transport RN Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse license eligible for practice in Washington; an active compact license must be in hand when applicable
• At least 1 year of professional RN experience required; 2 years of relevant pediatric or neonatal critical care experience preferred
• Previous pediatric or neonatal critical care ground transport experience required
• Experience caring for neonates, infants, children, and adolescents in high-acuity critical care settings
• Current BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications
• Experience with Epic or another electronic health record; Epic experience preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and the ability to manage critically ill patients during interfacility ground transport
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred
• Ability to work night shifts, every other weekend, and float to designated pediatric care areas as needed

Pediatric Critical Care Transport RN Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care during ground transport of critically ill neonates, infants, children, and adolescents
• Receive patients from emergency departments, labor and delivery, NICUs, pediatric units, and other referring locations
• Collaborate with respiratory therapists and advanced practice providers to assess, stabilize, monitor, and transport patients safely
• Manage ventilated patients, acute airways, tracheostomies, chest tubes, central lines, arterial lines, IV vasopressors, continuous sedation, and noninvasive respiratory support
• Monitor end-tidal carbon dioxide, interpret arterial blood gases and dysrhythmias, and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications safely, including pediatric dosages and anti-seizure medications
• Perform or assist with IV access, phlebotomy, suctioning, urinary catheter care, and other critical care interventions
• Document assessments, interventions, transport details, and patient responses accurately in the electronic health record
• Provide bedside nursing support in the NICU, PICU, or pediatric units when transport coverage is not required
