Must have construction experience within the Industrial Construction Project Environment.Responsibilities/CompetenciesPerforms miscellaneous tasks that require manually moving materials, tools, and equipment and using hand tools and power tools.Performs work area clean-up and safety-related duties.Communicates with various personnel concerning initiation of maintenance.Required to follow any other job-related instructions and to perform any other job-related duties requested by supervisor or designated representative.Requires working in operating facilities and observing and abiding by additional safety policies and procedures.Performs wire pullingOther duties as assignedRequirements6-47 months of experience in the industrial, electrical construction environment.Safety RequirementsOn a continual basis, promotes an awareness of environmental, health and safety policies to ensure a safe working environment and ensures compliance with all accompany policiesAbility to pass drug test as mandated by the Saulsbury Industries and Department of Transportation anti-drug programMust attend and successfully complete Saulsbury Industries safety training educationAttends safety meetings and specialty training as directed by managementAttends various training classes as may be assigned by managementPerform related duties and responsibilities as requiredAbility to take needed safety precautions in performing the workMust own Fire Resistant Clothing (FRC)Physical RequirementsManual and finger dexterityEye-hand coordinationDepth perceptionAbility to see things clearly that are beyond arm’s reach (far visual acuity)Ability to see small detailAbility to lift and carry up to 50 poundsAbility to climb 30-foot ladders without restingAbility to maintain balance on catwalks and narrow work spacesAbility to stand for long periods of timeAbility to reach above head while sitting or standingAbility to reach below knees while standingAbility to stoop or kneelAbility to work 60 or more hours each weekAbility to work at heights a minimum of 20 ft.Ability to stand for long periods of time.Work EnvironmentEmployees in this position must be able to perform under the following conditions:Awkward or confining workspacesHigh placesOut-of-door environmentNoisy EnvironmentDirty EnvironmentAir contamination (dust, fumes, etc.)Near or Below Freezing TemperaturesSaulsbury is an equal opportunity employer.
