We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Surgical Technologist to support our surgical team. In this role, you'll play a vital part in preparing the operating room, assisting surgeons, and ensuring that every procedure is performed with precision and care. Your contributions will directly impact patient safety and successful surgical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room with necessary instruments, supplies, and equipment
• Maintain a sterile field throughout surgeries, following aseptic techniques
• Assist surgeons and nurses by passing instruments and anticipating their needs during procedures
• Ensure accurate surgical counts before, during, and after procedures
• Assist with patient positioning and prepping them for surgery
• Clean and restock the operating room post-surgery
• Follow hospital protocols and safety standards to maintain a safe, sterile environment
• Document surgical counts and other relevant patient information

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred
• Current BLS certification
• In-depth knowledge of surgical instruments, sterile techniques, and operating room procedures
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
