Industrial Maintenance Technician (PLC & Electrical Troubleshooting)Keep Critical Equipment Running and Drive Continuous Improvement

In this role, you'll troubleshoot and repair advanced industrial equipment, work with PLC-controlled systems, and help minimize downtime in a fast-paced production environment. What You'll Do

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair industrial machinery and automated production equipment.
• Diagnose issues involving PLC-controlled systems, sensors, photo eyes, conveyors, motors, and electrical controls.
• Perform electrical troubleshooting, including work with 3-phase power systems.
• Repair and maintain pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and restore equipment to operational status.
• Complete preventive and predictive maintenance activities to maximize equipment reliability.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Use diagnostic equipment such as multimeters, ohmmeters, and other testing instruments.
• Perform welding and light fabrication to support equipment repairs and modifications.
• Partner with operations and engineering teams to improve equipment performance and reduce recurring issues.
• Document maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and equipment performance.
• Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout requirements.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing, processing, production, or industrial facility.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in both electrical and mechanical systems.
• Experience troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment.
• Experience reading electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of motors, conveyors, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems.
• Experience working with 3-phase electrical systems.
• Proficiency using diagnostic tools including multimeters and electrical testing equipment.
• Welding and basic fabrication skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to safe work practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience modifying or programming PLCs.
• Experience in automated, high-volume production environments.
• Experience supporting continuous improvement or reliability initiatives.
• Previous leadership experience or interest in career advancement into maintenance supervision.
• CMRT, industrial maintenance, electrical, or related technical certifications.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $56160.00 - $68640.00/yr.
