Delivery Director

About the Role TripleBolt is looking for a Director of Delivery to own the end-to-end execution of all client engagements. You will be the operational backbone of our delivery organization — ensuring every project ships on time, within budget, and to the standard our clients expect. This is a senior leadership role that sits at the intersection of people management, client relationships, and delivery excellence. What You'll Own Delivery Excellence Own delivery outcomes across all active client projects — timeline, budget, and quality. Define and enforce delivery standards, project governance frameworks, and escalation paths. Proactively identify project risks and drive mitigation before they become client issues. Lead post-mortems and translate lessons learned into process improvements. People Leadership Directly manage all Client Principals and Project Managers. Set clear performance expectations, provide ongoing coaching, and conduct formal reviews. Build a high-performing, accountable delivery team culture. Partner with leadership on hiring, onboarding, and team capacity planning. Client Success Serve as an executive escalation point for client delivery concerns. Build and maintain trusted relationships with key client stakeholders. Collaborate with Client Principals to ensure scope, change management, and expectations are delivered on. Operations & Reporting Report directly to the CEO and COO on delivery health, risks, and resource utilization. Maintain portfolio-level visibility across all engagements and surface insights to leadership. Contribute to resourcing, scoping, and SOW processes for new engagements. What We're Looking For Required 7+ years of experience in consulting, professional services, or technology delivery. Proven track record managing and growing delivery teams. Strong project management fundamentals — budget control, scope management, risk mitigation. Client-facing presence with comfort operating at the executive level. Technical fluency — ability to understand and communicate across technical and non-technical audiences. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
