The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.Overview Of The Senior Accountant Role:Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activitiesPrepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statementsAnalyze financial results and investigate variancesEnsure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policiesAssist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reportingSupport internal and external auditsMaintain and improve internal controls and accounting processesMentor and provide guidance to junior accounting staffPartner with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and financial reporting needsAssist with special projects and process improvement effortsPreferred Qualifications For The Senior Accountant Role:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance4–7+ years of progressive accounting experienceStrong knowledge of GAAP and financial reportingCPA or CPA track preferredAdvanced Microsoft Excel skillsExperience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar preferredExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
