Office Furniture Sales Representative
Do you thrive on the hunt finding new business, closing the deal, and building something that's yours? We're seeking a driven, entrepreneurial sales professional to join a well-established Fort Wayne office furniture company. This is a genuine opportunity to build your own book of business with the backing of a growing, team-oriented organization strong commission plan, attainable incentives, and real earning potential for someone who wants to go get it.
Responsibilities
Prospect for new B2B clients through face-to-face meetings, phone outreach, and industry association involvement
Actively build and grow your own account base, not just manage what's handed to you
Develop and maintain strong, lasting relationships with your client base
Present and deliver excellent furniture solutions to new and existing customers
Reach and exceed sales targets
Manage the details proposals, paperwork, and follow-through with accuracy and care
Collaborate closely within a small, supportive team
Qualifications
5+ years of business-to-business sales experience
Bachelor's degree
Background in flooring, commercial construction, or related B2B/adjacent industries a plus
Comfortable learning and adapting to new sales/business software systems
Strong work ethic, self-starter mentality, and genuine drive to grow your income
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Active in the local business community with a passion for networking
Compensation
Base salary + uncapped commission
Year 1 OTE $100K+ (total compensation range $40K$100K)
Minimal travel the large majority of business is local to the Fort Wayne area
Looking for local, commutable candidates who want to build something of their own.
