Medical Assistant

Job Description

Ultimate Staffing is currently recruiting for Medical Assistants with 2-5 years of proven, recent Cardiology experience. Bilingual Spanish, Hmong or Punjabi preferred. This position is temp to hire and is paying $19.00 - $25.00 per hour depending on experience. Candidates must have completed a medical assisting program from an accredited educational institution.


We are also seeking Medical Assistants, Medical Receptionists, Medical Billers and Referral Coordinators that have experience in Internal Medicine, Family Practice or Pediatrics or Oncology. Bilingual Spanish is a plus but not required. One year plus of experience in the medical field preferred.

Required Skills and Experience:

-Insurance verification, eligibility

-Vitals

-Rooming Patients

-Immunizations/Injections

-Strong Knowledge of medical procedures such as EKG's

-In Office Procedures and Labs

-Appointment Scheduling

-Check In/Check Out

-EMR Experience

-Referrals

-Billing

Additional skills and qualifications:

-Medical Assistant Certificate from an accredited education institution

-Current CPR certification required

-Strong customer service experience

-Excellent verbal communication skills

-Strong computer and office skills required
