HVAC Project Manager

Project Manager - Mechanical Construction | Reno, NV

Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee mechanical construction and fabrication projects from award through closeout.

Responsibilities

• Own all phases of project delivery - cost, schedule, and client satisfaction
• Track and forecast project financials; report to executive leadership
• Produce and maintain project schedule
• Lead change management: estimates, budgets, and proposals
• Manage subcontractors, vendors, and contract negotiations
• Coordinate with field leadership, fabrication teams, engineers, and accountants
• Direct project meetings and mentor junior staff
• Lead small/medium project bids; support BD on larger pursuits

Requirements :

• Engineering or Construction Management degree, or equivalent experience
• Proven experience in mechanical construction; federal/DOE site background preferred
• PMP certified or ability to obtain within one year
• Ability to interpret drawings, specs, and technical documents
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel)
• Estimating experience a plus
