Accounting Specialist

Insight Global is looking for an Accounting Specialist to join one of our utility construction clients' growing teams. The right person should have experience supporting procurement, accounts payable, or inventory accounting functions and be comfortable working in a fast-paced operational environment. On a day-to-day basis, this individual will process and code purchase orders, ensure accurate general ledger coding, reconcile invoices and receiving documentation, and work closely with warehouse personnel to verify material deliveries. They will also serve as a point of contact for vendors regarding order statuses, discrepancies, and payment inquiries while helping maintain accurate inventory and financial records. This person must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities while ensuring timely and accurate financial processing. Required Skills & Experience: 1+ years of experience in Accounts Payable, Procurement, Inventory Accounting, or a related accounting function. Experience processing purchase orders, invoices, and maintaining accurate financial records. Experience working within an ERP system (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar). Strong Microsoft Excel skills with excellent attention to detail and data accuracy. Nice to Have Skills & Experience: Experience supporting warehouse, supply chain, logistics, utility construction, or inventory-focused operations. Compensation: $21/hr to $26/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
