Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and people-focused Human Resources Coordinator to support daily HR and Safety operations. This role plays a key part in creating a positive employee experience by managing onboarding, coordinating recruitment activities, maintaining HR records, administering training programs, and supporting workplace safety initiatives.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, enjoys working with people, and can effectively manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.

Key ResponsibilitiesNew Hire Onboarding & Orientation

• Manage the full onboarding process from offer acceptance through new hire integration.
• Prepare and process pre-employment documents, new hire paperwork, and system setup.
• Coordinate onboarding schedules and ensure all required documentation is completed.
• Conduct new hire orientation sessions and communicate company policies, benefits, training requirements, and workplace expectations.

Recruiting Support

• Assist with recruiting efforts for assigned positions.
• Screen candidates, conduct phone interviews, and coordinate interview scheduling.
• Communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process.
• Partner with hiring managers and HR team members to ensure a positive candidate experience.
• Track recruitment activity and maintain accurate applicant records.

HR Administration & Employee Support

• Maintain employee personnel files and confidential HR records.
• Ensure records are organized, accurate, and compliant with company policies.
• Respond to routine employee questions regarding HR programs and processes.
• Support employee programs, benefits administration, and related documentation.

Training & HR Data Management

• Assign and track employee training through ADP and other systems.
• Monitor course completions and follow up on outstanding requirements.
• Maintain training records and compliance documentation.
• Track HR metrics, employee information, company assets, uniforms, and onboarding status using Excel and HRIS platforms.

Safety & Compliance Support

• Provide administrative support for the companys Safety Program.
• Assist with workers compensation administration and documentation.
• Maintain safety training records, compliance documentation, and required workplace postings.
• Support employee safety initiatives and ensure accurate recordkeeping.

QualificationsRequired

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field .
• Minimum 2 years of Human Resources experience , including:
  • Employee onboarding
  • New hire orientation
  • HR administration
  • Employee records management
  • Employee programs
• Minimum 2 years of experience with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite .
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (read, write, and speak).

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Corona, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $27.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
