Senior Director, Financial Planning & Analysis

Position Summary The Senior Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) will be a significant contributor towards developing and building strategic finance capabilities and delivering financial insights across the organization. The Senior Director will report to the Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer. This position is expected to work periodically from the Parsippany, NJ headquarters. Primary Responsibilities Lead annual long-range planning process in alignment with corporate strategy Develop and manage company valuation models and scenario analysis to inform Executive Leadership of inflection point decisions and assumption sensitivities Support cash runway analysis and capital formation strategy Manage FP&A team in annual budgeting, mid-year forecasting, and reporting Develop financial modeling and analytical support to provide insights for lifecycle management and portfolio decisions, including assumption sensitivities Support quarterly and annual audit processes, including accruals and SOX documentation in coordination with broader Finance and Accounting teams Support financial analysis of business development opportunities Develop and implement net sales forecasting and management reporting cycles in partnership with the commercial organization Support operational business needs and develop efficiencies within the Finance organization Work closely with Executive Leadership to provide ad-hoc decision-making support Competencies Highly accountable for the results and outcomes of their responsibilities and understands the impact of their efforts, results, and attitudes on others Uses teamwork to work cooperatively toward the most effective solutions, championing the best ideas of team members, and assisting where help is needed, yet is capable of highly independent work when efficiency is required Results-oriented individual who is highly motivated, decisive, flexible in thought, and has the creativity to excel in and contribute to a rapidly growing company Forward thinking mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects to identify and resolve issues Excellent critical reasoning and problem-solving skills Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) Excellent verbal and written skills, allowing for an open and effective dialogue throughout the company Experience Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting required; Master’s degree in finance or MBA preferred Minimum of 12 years of experience in finance leadership roles for both development and commercial-staged organizations within the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry Experience and understanding of financial valuation in the biotechnology industry Broad experience in a publicly traded commercial biotechnology company environment EEO Statement All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or protected veteran status. Salary Statement Offered compensation is determined based on market data, internal equity, and an applicant’s relevant skills, experience, and educational background.
