Project ManagerAs a Project Manager, you will provide end-to-end project management services for this prestigious client, directly supporting their strategic business objectives. Strong communication, technical writing, workload management, risk management along with leadership, creativity, organizational, adaptability, critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential. Candidates must be comfortable and effective working with both facilities' maintenance teams and on-site construction teams, being able to clearly collaborate amongst all to solve problems and bring projects successfully to completion.If you thrive in complex environments, enjoy bringing structure to ambiguity, and are motivated by high visibility and immediate impact, this role offers a unique opportunity to make a difference.This is a fulltime onsite role at a client site in Hartford, CT. There may be some off-hours or weekends depending on the project schedule with up to 5% travel.What You'll Do:Lead all areas of project management for multiple real estate projects. This includes planning, development, construction, occupancy, and closeout.Work directly with clients to prepare all elements of the project. This includes the scope of work, project delivery resource requirements, cost estimates & budget, work plan schedule & milestones, quality control, and risk identification.Define the project delivery resources from pre-qualified lists or through the project qualification process. Conduct complex requests for proposals, complete bid evaluations, and recommend resources to clients.Facilitate the development of a charter and coordinated timeline.Ensure all functions remain on schedule and issues get resolved or escalated.Facilitate regular meetings to review project status for active and pending projects.Collaborate to develop solutions and guide the project team through implementation and completion.Apply advanced knowledge to seek and develop new, better methods for accomplishing both individual and department objectives.Showcase expertise in own job field and in-depth knowledge of other job subject areas within the organization function.Mentor others to develop in-depth knowledge and expertise in most or all areas within the function.Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Anticipates potential objections and persuades others, often at senior levels and of divergent interest, to adopt a different point of view.Impact the achievement of customer, operational, project, or service objectives across multi-discipline teams. Work is guided by functional policies which impact the design of procedures and policies.Contribute to new products, processes, standards, and/or operational plans in support of achieving functional goals.Communicate difficult and complex ideas with the ability to influence.QualificationsThis role requires US CitizenshipBachelor's Degree preferred with 8-10 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.The innovative mentality to develop methods that go beyond existing solutions.Ability to tackle outstanding problems using standard and innovative solutions having a broad impact on the business.Proficient in Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.Expert organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.Additional InformationThe base salary range for this role is $115K-$140K USD. This range reflects the company's good faith estimate of the base salary for this position at the time of the posting. Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity.
