Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated RN specializing in surgery for a travel assignment in Alamogordo, NM. This role involves working in a dynamic surgical environment, handling patients from various specialties such as Orthopedic, General Surgery, Podiatry, GYN/OB, Pain Management, Urology, and Endoscopy.

Key responsibilities of the RN Surgery Travel include:

• Demonstrate proficiency and independence in the care of patients by applying the nursing process
• Consult with staff, physicians, and management on nursing problems and hospital policies
• Ensure patient needs are met and support the Mission and Philosophy of the hospital and Department
• Act as a patient advocate and maintain confidentiality
• Participate in hospital and department quality activities
• Practice the five rights of medication administration
• Manage time efficiently to maximize productivity
• Participate in community service programs as requested

Requirements of the RN Surgery Travel include:

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
• 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred
• RN License in state of NM required
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA only) required
• Verbal CPI hire required
