Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, requesting diagnostic tests, and developing personalized care plans
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions in collaboration with physicians or independently (as per your credentialing)
• Providing essential education to patients and their families about prevention, wellness, and managing various health issues
• Prescribing appropriate medications and therapeutic regimens within your scope of practice
• Engaging in follow-up care and chronic disease management
• Working alongside interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive and cohesive healthcare
• Maintaining detailed and accurate documentation within electronic medical records (EMR)

What You Need to Thrive

• A Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Necessary Certifications

• Valid Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Washington
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent in your specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the capacity to obtain them within 90 days)
