Job Description

Warriors 2 Workforce is hiring experienced Pipe Welders and Pipefitters for a long-term opportunity with a large mechanical contractor in Columbus, OH .

This is a 2nd shift fabrication shop position . We are hiring for both Pipe Welders and Pipefitters — you do not need to have experience in both trades to be considered.

Pipe Welders

Candidates should have hands-on experience welding pipe using GMAW/MIG . Experience with GTAW/TIG, FCAW, or SMAW is also valuable.

Welders should be comfortable taking a weld test that includes:

2” Schedule 80 GMAW/MIG roll-out – 1G
Additional pipe weld testing may be required depending on experience

Pipefitters

Candidates should have commercial or industrial pipefitting experience and be comfortable with:

Reading blueprints and/or isometric drawings
Measuring and laying out pipe
Calculating offsets and cut lengths
Cutting, fitting and tacking pipe
Flange orientation and fitting placement
Carbon steel and/or stainless piping

What We’re Looking For

Previous pipe welding OR pipefitting experience
Fabrication shop, mechanical, industrial or commercial experience preferred
Ability to accurately read measurements and drawings
Reliable attendance and transportation
Comfortable working 2nd shift
Able to pass required pre-employment screening
