The Role As a Baker at Bonrue, you'll be responsible for preparing and producing daily baked goods following standardized recipes and techniques. You'll work side by side with a passionate team to create consistent, high-quality products while maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment. What You'll Do Prepare artisan breads, viennoiseries, and savory items according to Bonrue standards Scale, mix, shape, and proof doughs using established formulas Operate ovens, mixers, proofers, and other equipment safely and efficiently Monitor baking times and temperatures to ensure product quality Keep workstations clean, sanitized, and organized at all times Label, store, and rotate ingredients and finished goods Communicate with the Head Baker on product needs and shift flow Maintain pace during high-volume production windows Assist with packaging, portioning, or topping items as needed Follow all safety and sanitation protocols consistently Who You Are Have 1–2 years of professional baking experience (or culinary training) Open availability: must be able to work morning or evening shifts, with flexibility around days off (including weekends and holidays as needed) Works well under pressure in a fast-paced environment Can follow precise instructions and repeat processes with consistency Are detail-oriented and take pride in craftsmanship A reliable teammate with strong time management skills Hold (or are willing to obtain) a valid Food Handler's Permit Can lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods What We Offer Competitive hourly pay On-the-job training in artisan techniques Opportunities for advancement into Head Baker or Lead roles A kitchen culture built on humility, speed, and standards A chance to work with passionate bakers and inspiring leaders #J-18808-Ljbffr Bonrue Springville Commissary
