Job Summary The diagnostic medical sonographer is responsible for providing patient care and technical expertise in the operation of imaging equipment for diagnostic imaging purposes. Minimum Qualifications Education/Specialized Training/Licensure: Graduate of an accredited medical sonography program, ARDMS or ARRT registered. Basic Life Support from a hospital- based American Heart Association (AHA) approved program. High School Diploma or GED. Graduate of an accredited program for Medical Sonography. Work Experience One year ultrasound experience or graduate of an ultrasound training program with a minimum of 3000 clinical hours of ultrasound training Equipment Operated Ultrasound unit and associated peripheral equipment, Trophon2 disinfection unit Special Requirements Communication Skills: Above Average Verbal (Heavy Public Contact) Proficiencies: Personal computer Knowledge/Skills/Abilities - Analytical Abilities, Mathematics, Other Knowledge skills or Abilities Work Schedule Flexible, On-Call, Weekends #J-18808-Ljbffr Harris Health System, Inc.
