Job Summary
The OD Consultant II Contractor assesses the organizational impact of technology changes, digital transformations, applications, and new workflows, then develops the collateral needed to build awareness, create desire, and support adoption among internal stakeholders. The role partners with leaders and cross-functional teams to translate technology changes into clear stakeholder impacts, targeted engagement strategies, communications, training, and other adoption materials that support successful implementation and sustained use across the organization.



Essential Functions of the Role

• Engages designated teams to build the capabilities, systems, and processes required to achieve sustainable business results.
• Identifies people-related risks, resistance points, performance gaps, stakeholder concerns, and opportunities to strengthen awareness, desire, and adoption.
• Conducts business readiness, organizational impact, stakeholder, and application-usage assessments; evaluates results and develops action plans to prepare stakeholders for upcoming changes.
• Partners with strategic partners and cross-functional teams to assess organizational impacts, identify root causes and priority areas, evaluate transformation risks, and define appropriate risk-mitigation strategies.
• Supports process design and future-state planning to align business processes, systems, application usage, culture, and capabilities with the organization's strategic vision.
• Consults with strategic partners to determine the scope, scale, and level of organizational change required to achieve the desired future state.
• Coaches and advises stakeholders throughout implementation to support successful adoption, reinforce new behaviors, and sustain business outcomes.
• Develops change and capability-building plans for assigned process areas, including stakeholder assessments, key messages, presentations, FAQs, talking points, job aids, training materials, communications, branding, awareness campaigns, and other collateral required to promote and sustain the change.
• Collaborates with cross-functional disciplines and teams to support performance improvement and organizational effectiveness.
• Establishes and applies change-management tools, methodologies, templates, collateral standards, and measurement practices to monitor awareness, readiness, engagement, application usage, adoption, and sustainment.
• Coordinates and aligns organizational, cultural, and operational change efforts across the enterprise.
• Ensures change activities, decisions, risks, impacts, stakeholder engagement, communications, collateral, training, application-usage findings, adoption measures, and outcomes are properly documented and maintained.
• Follows all established internal change-management processes, governance requirements, approval protocols, and documentation standards to support consistency, transparency, accountability, and audit readiness.

Key Success Factors

• PROSCI certification is preferre d or experience using change management frameworks. Master's degree is preferred in Industrial Organizational Psychology, Business Management, Training and Performance Improvement, Organizational Development, or a related field.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Demonstrated analytical and data interpretation skills, with the ability to translate assessments, application-usage data, adoption metrics, and stakeholder findings into clear, actionable recommendations and targeted collateral.
• Experience leading or supporting digital transformation initiatives, including assessing impacts to roles, processes, systems, applications, and stakeholder groups.
• Ability to understand application functionality and usage patterns, identify adoption barriers, and convert technical or operational changes into practical stakeholder communications and adoption collateral.
• Experience developing executive-ready and end-user materials such as change impact summaries, presentations, FAQs, talking points, job aids, training content, and campaign communications. Expert with Microsoft products.
