Nurse Practitioner - Trauma & Acute Care Surgery (Full-Time Nocturnist) Location: Loveland, Colorado Setting: Level II Trauma Center Shift: 12-hour overnights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Team Size: 3 providers Role Type: Permanent, full-time (not locums or locums-to-perm) Visa Sponsorship: Not available (No J-1 / H-1B) Quick-Screen Requirements

Experience:
- Minimum 2 years trauma surgery experience , or
- Completion of a surgical fellowship
- Not accepting new graduates
Autonomous practice capability: Required
Licensure: Active or eligible Colorado NP license (implied-confirm as needed)
EMR: Epic required

Clinical Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive Trauma and Acute Care Surgery care during overnight shifts
Manage trauma and emergency general surgery patients across all inpatient settings
Perform assessments, order and interpret diagnostic studies, and create treatment plans
Assist trauma surgeons with procedures, resuscitations, and operative support
Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and multidisciplinary teams
Maintain accurate, timely documentation in Epic
Ensure compliance with medical staff bylaws, privileging, and quality/safety standards
Participate in ongoing education, mentorship, and potential leadership development

Additional Role Details

High-acuity environment requiring independent decision-making
Not a temporary or transitional role; full-time permanent commitment required
No visa sponsorship available
