About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President of Capital Formation to join their team. The successful candidate will be a senior member of the capital formation function, with a primary focus on originating new investor relationships, raising capital across various investment vehicles, and enhancing the firm's presence in key investor channels. This role is pivotal in the firm's growth, particularly in expanding strategic investor relationships. The Vice President will be responsible for leading capital formation efforts, developing and managing relationships with a diverse range of investors, and representing the firm at various industry events. A strong background in capital formation, fundraising, and investor relations within alternative investments is essential, with a proven track record of success in raising capital from different investor segments. Applicants for the Vice President of Capital Formation position at the company should have a minimum of 7-10 years' experience in a related field, with a preference for those with a background in real estate investment. The role requires a candidate with established relationships within the RIA channel, a strong understanding of alternative investment products, and experience in fundraising across both equity and credit investment strategies. The ideal candidate will have a polished, professional presence, exceptional communication and presentation skills, and a reputation for integrity and accountability. An entrepreneurial mindset, a willingness to travel extensively, and a strong cultural fit within a relationship-driven organization are also key attributes.
