Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Provide nursing care for patients in the Stroke Stepdown Unit
• Manage common diagnoses such as stroke, renal issues, and COPD
• Use specialty equipment like IV pumps and feeding tubes
• Float to different units as required

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• 2+ years of experience in MS with stroke stepdown experience
• Travel experience required
• Current AHA BLS, NIHSS certification (can be obtained prior to start)
• Active NY License & all active RN licenses
• Experience with EMR systems, preferably EPIC
