Vice President, mRNA CDMO

Aldevron, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Vice President to lead strategic and operational oversight of its mRNA CDMO business. The role involves defining portfolio strategy, building product management capabilities, and driving growth and profitability across the mRNA therapeutic platform.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute strategic direction for mRNA portfolio with accountability for growth and profitability
- Establish portfolio priorities, pricing strategies, and lifecycle plans aligned with customer and market needs
- Build, coach, and develop high-performing product management team with succession planning focus
- Partner with Commercial, R&D, Operations, Finance, and Quality to align resources and execution priorities
- Serve as executive spokesperson for mRNA portfolio, engaging key customers and industry stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, or related field; MBA preferred
- 13+ years in product management, strategic marketing, or business leadership in life sciences or CDMO sectors
- Demonstrated experience managing teams in complex, matrixed environments
- Proven success developing portfolio strategy and lifecycle management processes
- Strong business acumen driving revenue growth, profitability, and competitive advantage
- Track record influencing senior stakeholders across cross-functional teams
- FDA-regulated industry experience resolving complex regulatory and commercial challenges
Compensation: $240,000 - $300,000 base, plus bonus/incentive pay eligible
