Dealer Account Manager

Westlake Financial is a leading auto finance company that supports more than 25,000 dealer partners across North America. Job Description Westlake Financial is seeking a Dealer Account Manager who will educate and train dealer partners in the assigned area, acquire new dealer contacts, and manage all sales activities and account development. The role is full‑time and involves extensive travel within the local market. What you will do Prepare presentations and proposals to communicate company products and services to dealership management. Identify sales prospects and contact assigned accounts. Follow‑up on new leads and referrals generated from field activity. Develop, maintain and grow dealer relationships within the Independent and Franchise Dealer communities. Maintain constant, effective communication via phone and in‑person visits to train partners on current programs and funding requirements. Provide solutions, restructure vehicle loans for profitable approval for Westlake and partners. Assist with the preparation of sales contracts by educating dealers on required verification procedures. Develop, maintain, and stay current with sales materials and financial product knowledge. Participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing events for dealers. Qualifications Demonstrated experience in Automotive, Finance, and Sales (required). 1–2 years of previous sales experience with a proven track record of success. College degree preferred or equivalent work experience. Excellent presentation skills (creation to delivery). Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques. Strong computer skills and adaptability to new technology. Goal‑oriented with a desire for improvement and advancement. Ability to communicate and work amicably with diverse teams. Knowledge/Experience with DealerTrack, RouteOne, or CUDL (beneficial). Previous outside sales experience preferred. Significant local travel required; possession of a valid state driver's license. Pay Plan Target first‑year income: $60,000–$130,000. First‑year guaranteed minimum income starting at $5,000 monthly plus performance‑based commissions; thereafter, monthly base of $1,000 plus commissions. Average rep earnings after one year: $160,000; top 25% reps: $245,000; top 50% reps: $305,000. Monthly vehicle mileage reimbursement program (average $ amount). No limit on commissions. Exact starting compensation determined at hiring and depends on location, skills, experience, education, credentials, and licensure. Benefits Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits.
