Finance Analyst

Pay: $26 hourly


Hours: Normal Business Hours


Location: Fremont, MI


Key Responsibilities

• Resolve rejected reinsurance transactions and coordinate with internal teams
• Match policies to clients and ensure accurate system linkage
• Process updates, documentation, and claim-related adjustments
• Review policy activity to ensure correct reinsurance application
• Identify and resolve billing discrepancies
• Monitor over-retention and overinsurance issues and take corrective action
• Maintain accurate records across systems (TAI, policy admin)
• Perform additional duties as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (Finance/Accounting background preferred)
• 5+ years in Life Insurance, Reinsurance, or Finance/Accounting (preferred)
• TAI system experience (preferred)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively

Work Environment

• Office-based role with extended computer use
• May require occasional extended hours during peak periods
