LICENSE PRACTICAL NURSE Salary Range: $60.00 To $62.00 Hourly Blue Dove Home Health Services is seeking an individual committed to providing excellent care with compassion who has a strong passion for making a positive impact on the quality of life for clients in a home health setting. Licensed Practical Nurses have the unique ability to impact the lives of patients every day by fostering their independence and improving the quality of their lives as an essential member of the team, utilizing the individualized comprehensive plans of care. The Licensed Practical Nurse is a licensed professional who provides direct and indirect patient care services to patients in their home environment or alternative setting per the organization's policies and procedures. Care will be preventive, rehabilitative, and curative in nature. The Licensed Practical Nurse will utilize all the resources available in the agency and community to accomplish the plan of care goals. Follows the plan of care as developed by the supervising Registered Nurse Identifies patient care problems and interventions and reports patient changes to the supervising Registered Nurse to ensure the patient's problems are comprehensively addressed. Demonstrates teaching skills and continued competence in performing therapeutic interventions for all levels of complexity in patient care Wound care, INR checks, post-hospital visits Qualifications The Licensed Practical Nurse shall possess a Licensed Practical Nurse degree from an accredited or approved school. At least one year of experience within the last five years, and preferably one year of community/home health therapy. Must have a valid VA LPN license.
